Job Description: Assistant Sales Manager

Position Overview

We are seeking an ambitious and results-oriented Assistant Sales Manager to join our vehicle finance team. The role involves driving sales, managing a sales team, and building lasting relationships with customers and partners. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a passion for sales, and a deep understanding of vehicle finance products.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Leadership and Team Management

    • Supervise and guide the sales team to achieve branch sales targets.

    • Train and motivate team members to enhance performance and productivity.

    • Monitor individual and team performance, providing feedback and support.

  • Business Development

    • Identify new opportunities for vehicle finance, including new and used car loans, construction vehicle loans, and commercial vehicle loans.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, brokers, and channel partners to generate leads.

    • Collaborate with the marketing team to implement promotional activities and strategies.

  • Customer Relationship Management

    • Understand customer needs to provide tailored vehicle finance solutions.

    • Ensure a seamless experience from loan application to disbursement.

    • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business.

  • Market Analysis and Strategy

    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine sales strategies.

    • Provide insights and feedback to the management team for product enhancement.

  • Compliance and Reporting

    • Ensure all sales activities adhere to company policies and regulatory standards.

    • Maintain accurate records of sales performance and client interactions in the CRM system.

    • Prepare and present periodic sales reports to senior management.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in vehicle finance or financial services.

 

Skills:

  • Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Proven ability to meet sales targets and manage a team effectively.

  • Basic knowledge of vehicle financing products and loan processes.

  • Proficiency in using CRM tools and MS Office Suite.
